There seems to be a sudden disturbance on the Facebook platform of late, this has come off a bit more like a nuisance to me. First, this kicked off on my Facebook page from an unknown entity trying to have me establish some communication with them regarding my Facebook Page being struck with an unpublished message. This type of message when you do not do a follow up might get your page unpublished especially if they feel the content of your page goes against their community policy standards.
Well I was able to sort that out by follow-up messages, later on, I got a scrupulous message from an individual posing as a Facebook employee or support, who identified my page as being scheduled for deletion (again) and provided a link for me to click to lay my complaints. This message caught me off-guard but I was careful as to WHY would a Facebook employer have a Profile page and also make use of the Facebook logo as their Display Picture, it was all too fishy to me. I ignored the message and reported the profile account for being a scam.
The next Facebook Scam attack was a bit bodacious to me because the individual went as far as to reach me with the same message from my Facebook messenger on my WhatsApp I immediately blocked and reported it as a scam. I thought the harassment was over until I got an email not too long ago from a supposed job recruiter agency.
From the email above any average Joe will probably fall for this sort of email scam from Metacareer, the content itself was analyzed and was found to be AI-generated content created for email pitching targeted at email audiences like myself, and with an appealing subject line for a better email open rate, it was not until I opened the email I noticed the content inside the mail was a recruiter sending a Meta Careers Remote Work From Home Jobs Scam and this email has been in circulation since August 26, 2024 (Creation date). This alone was a turn-off for me because I am not a champion for using AI to generate everything, artificial intelligence can be used to support, automate, or compliment, so it gave me a very wrong impression about the authenticity of the mail.

Another thing that gave the mail away apart from the poor message layout (No professional email template was used), was the email addresses that were attached to the mail, both sender and recipient email did not match and also the recruiter domain address attached to their email is a parked domain name address, ie the metacareershiringprocess.com, it is a spoofed domain name. With all these points, it was easy to tag this email as a recruiter work from home scam job offer from Meta Career, using a brand name as META CAREER to build some credibility.
In conclusion, scammers are now targeting Facebook Meta Career Remote Work From Home Jobs Offer as a means to try and gain access to unsuspecting spectators by trying to establish communication via their spam links so you don't get clicked for them to activate hacking your social account. My best advice, if you come across such messages from an unidentified entity, will be to ignore them totally by not replying or establishing any form of communication with these scammers. If you have clicked a suspicious link or sent them a message or reply, my advice to you will be to either change your Facebook password or set up a two-factor authentication on your Facebook account. This will even ensure that the hacker will not get through to your account unless they have access to your two-factor authentication device (which in most cases is your mobile phone).
