AI is substantially impacting digital marketing in various ways, disrupting the status quo of doing things that might seem easier to accomplish versus the amount of hours and energy you might spend in creating the same results or goals. We are definitely in the dawn of Artificial Intelligence and this technology is slowly being adapted to every facet of digital marketing. I for one am someone who loves to be logical with most of my dealings, if we shut down the noise of how effective AI has been in terms of work output we might tend to forget that the quality of the work generated should also be of consideration and there's no way you are going to talk about how Artificial Intelligence is disrupting digital marketing without looking at the drawbacks as well.
In essence, what this means is obvious, we practically have so many AI-generated tools that have flooded the market with either repetitive concepts or offering little changes to pre-existing ones out there, hence increasing the quantity of AI-generated tools in the market and also the concern of human-driven work or jobs (this might be a new market to be sought after in future tense when the whole world is doped on AI). Relying on AI will also increase the cost of acquiring human-executed jobs and the need for AI detector or checker tools to prove credibility and quality assurance with employment in the ever-changing digital marketing world.
In summary, AI is enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and personalization of digital marketing, enabling businesses to achieve superior results with reduced effort.
However, there are still some disadvantages for depending on AI for digital marketing. As have narrated in my first paragraph above, although AI offers many advantages in digital marketing, there are also several drawbacks to keep in mind.
It's crucial for businesses to strike a balance between utilizing AI and incorporating human oversight and creativity to fully leverage its advantages while addressing potential limitations.
